iPanda is an informal artivist action focusing on China’s independent performance scene to build up the internal network and also improve the development into the international playfield. It was collectively founded by independent performance artists, art institutes, and platforms to consolidate resources.

iPanda federates independent creators, critics, researchers, presenters, resource partners, mentors, and other collaborators, who regularly meet to deepen conversations, sometimes by inviting foreign practitioners, presenting artworks, organising workshops, or simply discussing current opportunities.

iPanda switches the leading responsibility from event to event to keep the organisation decentralised.
